2mediumGranny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and diced
0.5cupbrown sugar
1teaspooncinnamon
0.25teaspoonnutmeg
0.5cupcaramel sauce
1tablespoonbutter, melted
0.25cupgranulated sugar (for sprinkling)
1tablespoonflour (for dusting)
optionalPowdered sugar, for serving
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, toss the diced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well coated.
Take the biscuit dough and gently separate each biscuit. Flatten each biscuit using your hands or a rolling pin to form a larger circle.
In the center of each flattened biscuit, place a generous spoonful of the apple mixture, followed by a drizzle of caramel sauce.
Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling to form a ball, pinching the seams to seal securely.
Place each ball seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops lightly with melted butter and sprinkle a bit of granulated sugar on top for added sweetness and crunch.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Once baked, let them cool slightly before serving, then drizzle with extra caramel sauce and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Serve in a shallow dish, drizzled with caramel sauce and dusted with powdered sugar for a festive finish.
