optionalsesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, and sesame oil.
Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter. You should have around 16 meatballs.
Thread the meatballs onto skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning).
Brush the skewers with half of the teriyaki sauce.
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meatballs are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
During the last minute of cooking, brush the remaining teriyaki sauce over the meatballs.
Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
Garnish with sesame seeds and additional sliced green onions if desired.
Notes
For best results, soak wooden skewers in water before grilling.
