Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef and ground pork.
Add breadcrumbs, grated Pecorino Romano, chopped pistachios, raisins, minced garlic, chopped onion, and parsley to the meat mixture.
Crack the two eggs into the bowl, followed by oregano, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
Mix everything together using your hands until fully combined but be careful not to overmix.
Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish and shape it into a loaf.
Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve slices of the meatloaf on a rustic wooden board garnished with fresh parsley, alongside a small bowl of extra marinara sauce for dipping.
