Chicken Parmesan Sliders Tasty and Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.25 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 0.5 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 12 slider buns slider buns
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the chicken mixture into 12 small patties, making sure they are slightly smaller than the slider buns.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. (You may need to do this in batches).
- Once the patties are cooked, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon a tablespoon of marinara sauce over each patty, followed by a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice the slider buns in half. On the bottom half of each bun, place a chicken patty. Top with additional marinara sauce if desired, and a basil leaf for garnish. Place the top half of the bun over the chicken.
- Brush the tops of the buns with the remaining olive oil for added flavor and a shiny finish. Serve warm!
