Ingredients

  • 20 cookies Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped cream (or Cool Whip)
  • 10 cookies Oreo cookies, roughly chopped (for the filling)
  • 2 cookies whole Oreo cookies (for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking dish, creating an even layer to form the crust. Set aside to chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
  3. In another large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Carefully fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies into the cream cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the cheesecake filling over the chilled Oreo crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  8. Refrigerate the bars for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  9. Once set, top with whole Oreos and cut into squares for serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Serve chilled, and for added flair, drizzle with chocolate sauce or a dollop of whipped cream on top.
