No-Bake Oreo Cheesecake Bars Delicious and Simple Treat
Ingredients
- 20 cookies Oreo cookies, crushed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream (or Cool Whip)
- 10 cookies Oreo cookies, roughly chopped (for the filling)
- 2 cookies whole Oreo cookies (for topping)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press the Oreo mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking dish, creating an even layer to form the crust. Set aside to chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
- In another large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Carefully fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Gently fold in the chopped Oreo cookies into the cream cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the chilled Oreo crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Refrigerate the bars for at least 4 hours or until firm.
- Once set, top with whole Oreos and cut into squares for serving.
