Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gochujang, honey (or maple syrup), soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the cauliflower florets to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade.
  4. Spread the coated cauliflower evenly on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and slightly crispy on the edges, stirring halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions for added freshness and color.
