Garlic Sautéed Cabbage Simple and Flavorful Dish
Ingredients
- 1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Instructions
- Begin by shredding the cabbage into thin strips. Rinse under cold water and set aside to drain.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, stirring continuously until fragrant but not browned.
- Increase the heat slightly and add the shredded cabbage to the skillet. Stir to coat the cabbage with the oil and garlic.
- Sprinkle in the red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook the cabbage for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is softened and slightly caramelized.
- Pour in the apple cider vinegar, stirring well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Remove the skillet from heat and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
