Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz Brie cheese, cut into wedges
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Honey (optional for drizzling before serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface to smoothen any creases and to make it slightly larger.
  3. Place the Brie wedges in the center of the pastry, leaving enough space around the edges for folding.
  4. Spoon cranberry sauce generously over the Brie, then sprinkle chopped pecans and rosemary on top. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Fold the pastry edges over the filling, pinching and pleating as necessary to create a secure package. Ensure no filling is exposed.
  6. Brush the surface of the pastry with the beaten egg to give it a golden color when baked.
  7. Make a few small slits on top of the pastry to allow steam to escape during baking.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  9. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Drizzle with honey if desired before serving.

💡 Chef's Notes

Drizzle with honey for added sweetness before serving.
