Copycat Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars Easy Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup dried cranberries, chopped
- 0.5 cup white chocolate chips
- 0.25 cup orange zest
- 0.25 cup cream cheese, softened
- 0.5 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the chopped cranberries, white chocolate chips, and orange zest.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the bars are baking, prepare the frosting. In a small bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined. Add in the milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Once the bars are done, allow them to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, lift them out using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting over the top of the bars and garnish with additional chopped cranberries and a sprinkle of orange zest, if desired.
💡 Chef's Notes
For best results, let the bars cool completely before frosting.
